Our SMS program sends account notifications: booking confirmations, appointment reminders, cleaner arrival / ETA updates, phone-verification codes, invoices and payment notifications, and customer-support replies. 1 · Online booking (primary opt-in). Every "Book now" button on amacleanco.com opens our booking form. On the contact step, the customer enters their mobile number and is shown this disclosure directly beneath the phone field, before they can continue:
"By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive service-related text messages from AMA Clean Co., including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, cleaner arrival updates, invoices, payment notifications and customer-support messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance."
The same step shows a separate, optional marketing checkbox — unchecked by default and never required to book: "I agree to receive recurring promotional and marketing text messages from AMA Clean Co. at the mobile number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance."
2 · Phone verification. During booking, the customer requests a one-time verification code by text (Twilio Verify) — a message they explicitly ask for on that screen.
3 · Customer account. Signed-in customers manage their number and notification preferences in their account. The same disclosures apply wherever a phone number is collected.
Each consent is recorded with a timestamp, the phone number, and the exact disclosure version shown (current: v2026-07-10).
